Die FRUIT LOGISTICA in Berlin wird jedes Jahr aufs Neue zu einer fruchtigen Angelegenheit.
Auf der FRUIT LOGISTICA dreht es sich um Obst, Gemüse, Transport-Logistik & Innovatives. Es gibt eine schier unendliche Vielfalt an heimischen & tropischen Früchten und die wenigen Tage, die diese Messe ihre Tore öffnet, reichen oft kaum aus um alle Köstlichkeiten probiert zu haben.
Da die Messe stets im Frühjahr stattfindet, bietet sich bereits in den kälteren Monaten des Jahres die Gelegenheit “Sonne“ zu tanken – auch wenn dies meist „nur“ kulinarisch zu verstehen ist.
Jedes Jahr stellen die Produzenten auf dieser beliebten Messe neue Kreuzungen vor, die die Besucher staunen lassen. Sei es wie 2018 beispielsweise eine Avocado ohne Kern oder die chinesischen Birnen, bei denen mittlerweile durch Züchtung Früchte verfügbar sind die an die 800g auf die Waage bringen und dennoch lecker sind.
Der Aufwand den die Aussteller treiben um ihre Produkte anzupreisen ist beeindruckend. Es gab bereits eine Vielzahl an Aktivitäten rund um das Business, angefangen von Fruit Carving Kursen, über die Wahl zur “Frucht des Jahres“ bis hin zum beliebten Innovationspreis.
Auch viele Fachbesucher aus Übersee und Asien schätzen die Berliner Ausgabe der FRUIT LOGISTICA – vieles was hier in Sachen Transport, Logistik & Verpackung vorgestellt wird finden wir Verbraucher bald im Supermarkt um die Ecke wieder.
Besonders beeindruckend ist das die Veranstalter zum Messe-Ende stets dafür sorgen, dass so gut wie keine Lebensmittel weggeschmissen werden – die Berliner Tafel und einige andere Organisationen haben nach der FRUIT LOGISTICA stets allerhand vitaminreiches im Angebot.
Jedem der sich für Früchte, Gemüse und die “Große weite Welt“ interessiert, kann ich nur raten, hier mindestens einmal zu Gast zu sein. Als kleinen Anreiz habe ich für Euch ein paar Beiträge verfasst und dabei natürlich wieder „ein bis zwei“ Fotos geschossen.

FRUIT LOGISTICA is all about fruit, vegetables, transport logistics and innovation. There is an almost infinite variety of domestic & tropical fruits and the few days that this fair opens its doors are often hardly enough to have tasted all the delicacies.
Since the fair always takes place in spring, the colder months of the year already offer the opportunity to tank up on „sun“ – even if this is usually „only“ to be understood culinarily.
Every year the producers present new crossings at this popular fair, which amaze the visitors. Be it, for example, an avocado without a seed in 2018 or the Chinese pears, which are now available through breeding with fruits that weigh around 800g and are still delicious.
The effort the exhibitors put into promoting their products is impressive. There have already been a number of activities related to business, from fruit carving courses, to the „Fruit of the Year“ award, to the popular Innovation Award.
Many trade visitors from overseas and Asia also appreciate the Berlin edition of FRUIT LOGISTICA – consumers will soon find much of what is presented here in terms of transport, logistics and packaging in the supermarket around the corner.
Especially impressive is the fact that the organisers always make sure at the end of the fair that virtually no food is thrown away – after FRUIT LOGISTICA, Berliner Tafel and some other organisations always have all kinds of vitamin-rich products on offer. Thus, the fair also benefits Berliner inhabitants who have not visited it at all.
Anyone who is interested in fruit, vegetables and the „big wide world“ should visit the FRUIT LOGISTICA at least once – I promise you it will be worth it.
