Neulich…

…wollten wir mal spontan frühstücken, gelandet sind wir im Marietta.

Es handelt sich um eine übersichtliche Bar in der geraucht werden darf – zumindest „damals“.

Das Publikum ist gemischt, man findet sowohl „Berliner Urgesteine“ als auch Berlin-Besucher auf Stippvisite und fühlt sich prompt wohl.

Das Marietta bietet einen Tresen-Self-Service mit kurzen Wegen.

Die Musik hat mir besonders gut gefallen. Es wurden viele betagte aber auch aktuelle englisch sprachige Titel gespielt, und dies in moderater Lautstärke.

Dies war mein erster Besuch im Marietta, sicher aber nicht der letzte.The other day…

…we wanted to have breakfast spontaneously and ended up in the Marietta.

It is a simple arranged bar where smoking is allowed – at least „former days“.

The audience is mixed, you can find both „the real Berliner“ and Berlin visitors on a flying visit and we felt promptly at home.

The Marietta offers a counter self-service with short distances.

I especially liked the music. Many old but also current English titles were played, and this at a moderate volume.

This was my first visit to the Marietta, but certainly not the last.
