Bastian Ballweg has been Executive Chef of The Pavilions Phuket since March 2022 and is also the chef of the Firefly restaurant located on the hotel grounds. He previously worked – for a good four years – as Executive Chef at the Marriott Nai Yang – Resort and Spa, which is also located on Phuket. Lieblingsplatz

The restaurant Lieblingsplatz could – if it was around the corner – also become my favourite place. We visited this restaurant after I noticed it on television a few years ago. The supposed boss (you never know with TV) made such a patent, open and honest impression on me that this, together with the culinary promises, was reason enough to stop by there the next time I was in the area.
