If you love pears, you are sure to become a fan of Snow White Pear from Chinese producer Qingdao O’natur.

Due to its size (200 – 500g/each) this wonderful fruit offers the necessary “more” pleasure. It is well suited as a vitamin supplier at events, because this pear does not turn brown as quickly when peeled as its European relatives.

Unlike many similar “pear plants”, it has no floury touch and tastes refreshing throughout without being too sweet. This fruit can be processed excellently and has its own fine aroma.

Particularly chilled and if necessary, in the form of small cut-out balls, this fruit is a great and unusual addition to any fruit salad. Due to its size, this fruit is also ideal for the first fruit carving attempts. The consistency of the fruit flesh is firm, but just so that you can create wonderful patterns with the knife. This makes it easy to produce real eye-catchers.

In addition to the many vitamins, Snow White Pear also has a significant number of antioxidants to offer. Thus, the fruit can be called health-promoting in good conscience and can also be eaten in larger quantities without remorse. But be careful, the Snow White Pears are not very cheap and also not available throughout the year.

The fruit has its home in Qingdao (China) and is offered periodically between September and April. According to the manufacturer (Qingdao O’natur is owned by a US American consortium – the Activa Group) it has been awarded the GLOBAL G.A.P., Organic Product Certificate and can be ordered in cartons ranging from 5 to 18kg.

There is currently no shop in Germany, but you can order the fruit directly from the producer’s website. From September 2017 the Snow White Pear will also be available in free shops – let’s have a look.
