TOMRA 2022 – The Interview

First of all, a quick info on my TOMRA interview partner at FRUIT LOGISTICA 2022 in Berlin.

Ken Moynihan, a native of Ireland, has been CEO of TOMRA Processed Food since January 2021. He is an absolute team player and brings to the company more than a decade and a half of experience in leadership roles in high-growth, transformational and scaling structures.

In addition to outstanding technical expertise, Ken consistently exudes positive life energy that has motivated his teams to award-winning high performance over the years. Ken is the Global Player personified and has worked, lived and been inspired by different cultures in South Africa, USA as well as New Zealand. Arctic Sparkle

Arctic Sparkle is a non-alcoholic sparkling wine product of the family business Saimaan Marjamarkkinointi (Saimaan Marjamarkkinointi Oy) based on Finnish cloudberries. The small but fine company was founded in 2004 and since then has been producing a variety of products. This year at the International Green Week 2020 I spent a lot of time in HALL 8.2 – especially at the Finnish stand. Reasons for this – besides the wish to learn more about the northernmost country of the EU and to write a new article on “Meet the Chef” (Teemu Kaijanen) – were mainly the relaxed atmosphere and the many natural products there. Opening Event

The City Cube – Hall B is an ideal venue for the number of participants expected at the opening event of the International Green Week 2020.

A really very attractive, modern and, above all, huge event location in which, in addition to the large main stage, three screens were “stretched out” that were unparalleled. This ensured for all parts of the event that everyone could see what was happening on stage, even in the back row. Continue reading Opening Event
